Why Waste Management?
Throughout our experience in Latin America, we directly faced the widespread use of open-air landfills and the impact they have on communities and the environment.
Thanks to our technological partner in pyrolysis, who has a patented and proven process, and with the experience of our alliance members, TPS has developed a creative business model that achieves efficient solid waste management.
As a group, we have created alternatives capable of classifying and utilizing all types of waste, reducing and even eliminating the environmental impact of landfills to create useful and marketable products.
Giving Waste a New Life
In a traditional landfill, waste is simply “dumped” and sometimes buried.
TPS will transform waste into useful products such as:
- Renewable “Green” electrical energy
- Ultra Low Sulfur Petroleum Products
- Industrial steam
- Agricultural and industrial-grade char
Using the following technologies
- High-temperature pyrolysis
- Low-temperature pyrolysis
Marketable Products
We plan to produce the following marketable products. The plant will consist of 5 buildings where activities will be separated for optimal operation:
CLEAN ENERGY
The energy production will be approximately 1.5 megawatt per ton of organic MSW
PETROLEUM PRODUCTS
The petroleum production will be approximately 180 gallons per ton of mixed plastic waste
STEAM
Capable of producing 150 PSI saturated steam at high volumes for industrial use

A Modern and Efficient Plant
The project consists of a Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) recovery plant with capacity to process approximately 1250 MTPD.
The plant will consist of various specialized facilities for effcient operation of processing MSW.
- MSW reception and sorting facility/Plastic Preparation Facility
- Low-temperature pyrolysis building
- High-temperature pyrolysis building
- Electrical Energy Generation Facility
- Syngas processing facility to include compression, filtration and storage
Plant is designed with future expansion in mind with a focus on efficiency. Unlike most plants worldwide that can process 30–40% of waste, ours will be able to process up to 93%.

Our Plans
TPS Land_ll Solutions LLC has created a proprietary design that can be replicated for future plants. TPS designs, engineers, constructs, and operates its own municipal solid waste (MSW) conversion facilities, securing project financing through strategic partnerships with national and international financial institutions.
We are currently in the process of obtaining permits for the construction of a plant in Guanagazapa, Escuintla. TPS is also open to technically supporting the design of required transfer stations to serve various municipalities in a coordinated manner.
The construction of the plant is expected to take approximately 18 months once all environmental and construction licenses are granted.
