Why Waste Management?
Throughout our experience in Latin America, we directly faced the widespread use of open-air landfills and the impact they have on communities and the environment.
Thanks to our technological partner in pyrolysis, who has a patented and proven process, and with the experience of our alliance members, TPS has developed a creative business model that achieves efficient solid waste management.
As a group, we have created alternatives capable of classifying and utilizing all types of waste, reducing and even eliminating the environmental impact of landfills to create useful and marketable products.
Giving Waste a New Life
In a traditional landfill, waste is simply “dumped” and sometimes buried.
TPS will transform waste into useful products such as:
- Green electricity
- Synthetic fuel (ultra-low sulfur)
- Industrial steam
- Agricultural and industrial-grade char
Using the following technologies
- High-temperature pyrolysis
- Low-temperature pyrolysis
Marketable Products
We plan to produce the following marketable products. The plant will consist of 5 buildings where activities will be separated for optimal operation:
CLEAN ENERGY
Produce over 10 MW of “green” electricity
SYN - FUEL
Produce over 25,000 gallons/day of diesel and 5,000 gallons/day of naphtha
STEAM
Produce over 15 TONS per hour of steam production at 150 psi

A Modern and Efficient Plant
A Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) recovery plant to process 1,250 tons per day (TPD) in Phase I, with the ability to expand to 4,000 tons per day.
The plant will consist of 5 specialized buildings for optimal operation:
- Reception and sorting building
- Low-temperature pyrolysis building
- High-temperature pyrolysis building
- Energy generation building
- Compression, processing, and storage building for synthetic gas (Syn-gas)
The plant is designed for continuous growth with a focus on efficiency and future planning. Unlike most plants worldwide that can process 30–40% of waste, ours will be able to process up to 93%.

Our Plans
TPS Landfill Solutions LLC finances, designs, builds, and operates its own municipal solid waste (MSW) management plants.
We are currently in the process of obtaining permits for the construction of a plant in Guanagazapa, Escuintla. We are also open to building several transfer stations to serve different municipalities in a coordinated manner.
The construction of the plant will take 18 months once all environmental and construction licenses are granted.
